Biblical Basis:

The concept originates from Jesus’ rebuke of the Pharisees and Sadducees in Matthew 16:1-3, where they failed to recognize the spiritual significance of Jesus’ presence while being able to interpret natural weather signs, according to Bible HubThe term is also used in Luke 21:25-28, where Jesus speaks of signs in the sun, moon, and stars, and anguish of nations.
